How to organize your CD's

We all have C.D.'s that we can never find. It seems as though they are lost for months and then all of a sudden pop up from out of nowhere. Let's get them organized once and for all. It would be so nice to be able to tell someone, "Yes, I have that C.D. right here" and be able to walk right over to the shelf and retrieve it.

If you can just picture a library and the organization that it has, it will make it easier for you to do.

Take all of the C.D.'s that you have and put them all in one place. Now separate them into categories; country, classical, oldies or whatever the selection that you have.

When you have finished with that, take the pile of one specific category and separate them according to Artist.

You will now take each Artist and alphabetize the C.D.'s according to Title.

When you are through with this, you can now place them on your shelves 'alphabetically' according to category.

When you have completed this and as you are looking at your shelves; you will have a category, the artists according to alphabetical listing and their C.D.'s all listed alphabetically.

It will make it easier for you to find them and to put them away when you are through.
